Body: The Exhibition
by krstaten
like a microscope slide,
skin sliced into thin slivers,
transparent. plastinated
veins. lungs inflated
and cut through. on display
for the masses. manufactured
lifelike veneer carefully
layered, translucent. it’s almost
beautiful, the way the fluorescent
light shines through
organs clustered into
an illusion of productivity,
polymers keeping the body
almost lively.
Almost!

Nice piece.
Reminds of Dr Von Haagen (i think thats the spelling) who exhibits bodies.
